Explore backyard beauty and discover “Silks and Threads and Flower Beds” when Friends of Historic Forest Grove hosts its 23rd Annual Garden Tour from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 4.
This year’s gardens include, among others, a beautiful country setting and a drought resistant garden, and will feature a variety of vintage clothing and linens, hats and gloves, quilts and more. You might even see an old spinning wheel at work!
Meet at the Old Train Station on the corner of 19th and Main in downtown Forest Grove to get your map to the location of the gardens featured on the tour this year. Visitors will also be able to go on a free tour of the Old Train Station — a history museum maintained by Friends of Historic Forest Grove containing many old photos and other interesting displays from the local area.
Advance tickets for the Annual Garden Tour are $12 each from May 1 through June 3. Purchase online at www.fhfg.org or visit the following locations in Forest Grove: Corner Antiques and Collectibles, the Forest Grove/Cornelius Chamber of Commerce, Linda’s Re-Creations, or Starkey’s Corner Farm and Garden in Hillsboro. Advance tickets are available through June 3rd.
Tickets may be purchased at The Old Train Station on the day of the event from 11:45am until 2:00pm. Prices are $15 for adults, $12 for Seniors, $7 for FHFG members and students with ID; children under 12 are free. We look forward to seeing you there!
